Best tips for a BIG group?

Well, it finally happened. My whole family is going to WDW in June when dd15 dances @ MK. DH and I have been several times w/our kids. We will have 19 people from age 67 all the way to a 1 yr. old (my granddaughter!) We already know we are staying at SOG - stayed there before as well as several other WDW properties. Can't beat the price and space in those rooms. Soooo, I am the 'trip coordinator' - which I love doing. Any tips???

Plan it as several small groups with occasional get togethers as opposed to one big group with occasional separations.

I have gone with 2 big groups both consisting of 15 people. One trip we tried to stay together and boy was that the wrong thing to do. We did have dinner together and that was fine. The other trip we met at our house with the other families that were going and just had dinner and discussed what everyone wanted to do. We all agreed ahead of time that we wanted to have dinner together so we planned that and made all ADR's early. Then we got together the weekend before we left and I gave all the kids goody bags for the ride down--10hours. Once there it was great. We would hang out together and when we wanted to seperate no feelings were hurt because we had discussed it prior. The group that we had the most trouble with was my family--they left everything up to me and then complained about it.

Remember to have fun, seperate, and have a great time. Hope I didn't rambleto much.

One question - how can all 19 stay at SOG? I thought it was only for military and immediate family? That's one big family!

Actually more than 19 could easily stay at SOG. DH is military (Army) - he can reserve 3 rooms (max. 5 people per room) and I, as his spouse, am entitled to reserve 3 rooms (max. 5 people per room) - viola, 30 people if we wanted.
