Best time to visit GF gingerbread display for lower crowds?

Can anyone suggest the best time to visit GF to see the gingerbread house when crowds might be lower? We went a couple years ago in the afternoon before MVMCP and it was mayhem. Is it better in morning? Late evenings? Any suggestions or recent experiences is appreciated.

I was there from November 8–12. Stayed on site at GF and we never even went near it. The line was massive all day, every day, from 9 AM to 9 PM. It wrapped all the way past the elevator and down almost to the check-in desk at the other end of the lobby. I didn’t time the line, but it looked like a very long wait. Given that it was a long holiday weekend, maybe it has calmed down a bit ?

I went right when they opened at 9:30am and didn't wait at all. I'm sure during Thanksgiving break and the days leading up to Christmas it's busy constantly though.

We were there Saturday the 23rd about 5 pm—not very busy at all.
