We are planning a trip for 2011. We would like to go around the first week of Feb. It looks like that is the value season. I would like to go when it is the best value and no crowds. We are also considering April. We would like to enjoy the resort pool. Does anyone know which week is good to visit in April? Easter will be on April 24/2011. It is late next year.

We used to always go in March and once at Easter. The crowds are high at that time due to spring break. But we still had a blast at WDW. Our last trip was in November and it was awesome! Crowds were low and the atmosphere was something to see. Plus we had free dining and great weather.

March and April crowds are dicey.Spring breaks flood most of March and depemnding when Easter is could overflow into April. Also March and April are NOT value season as far as cost

We just returned from WDW on Feb. 3rd and were there the last week of Jan.
The lack of crowds was great and waits were only 5 to 10 minutes. This was the first of many trips that we did not make rope drop and arrived about 30 to 40 minutes after park opening. It was cold, however, and were never tempted to try the pool. Swimming would definitely be better in April.
Good luck and have fun.

I gotta agree with the above poster about Feb. Thats the month we have went for the last 3 years and we absolutely love this month to go. Low crowds (by Disney standards) and great weather.
I've been in august, july, dec, and june. never again.

If you decide to do February, make sure you know what attractions will be down for refurbishments. Personally, I would hate to plan a trip and not be able to do Splash Mountain.:scared1:

The basics: Disney has five "seasons" at its Walt Disney World resort hotels each year. Value Season is the least expensive and least crowded time, followed by Regular Season, Summer Season, Peak Season and Holiday Season. So the most basic way to save money on Disney's resort hotels is simply to book in the off-season

Weather is iffy in Feb for swimming. Although the pools at the resorts are heated, it is no fun to be wet and have to get out of a nice warm pool and step into winter outside.

I have been in April a couple of times and it has always been warm enough for the pools. The crowds are ok as long as you don't go Easter week.

Have fun!

When is off season?

We've done two trips in later January / early February and could not have been happier with thems. Crowds seem very light, rarely did we have to wait for an attraction more than 10-15 minutes.

Weather was still pretty good, some days were a little chilly the one year (50-60 degrees), but still manageable.
