Best time to see Ariel in the Grotto....

Went in Dec, everytime the line was long, I waited and the line doesn't move.
Going in Sept, any advice.....thanks

I would suggest lining up before it opens or be there right when it opens.

Yes. Getting there right at opening greatly helps your chances. Especially since it is an outdoor attraction and it could close for many reasons, including lightning.

When we went, it opened about 15 minutes before the time posted on the guide...we walked right back.

Going early is definatly the way to go. Check the Times Guide for when Ariel will start appearing (it's usually between 9am and 9:30 I think).

Like all the other posters... get there first thing in the morning as soon as they open that area up.

we lined up about 15 mins before it was scheduled to open. Waited probably another 10 mins after it opened. The line by the time we were done was huuuuge.
