The last couple of years I have seen that around April or May Universal offers Fla. Res AP deals for either the "Buy One Year, Get 6 Months Free", or even the Buy One Year, Get One Year Free". Is this usually the case? Also, what makes them determine to do either one? Obviously, we want to get the best deal we can because we are planning on getting APs sometime in April or May. Our almost 5 year old loves IOA/US so APs there is a lot more cost sensible than the Disney APs, especially since he only really likes Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for the help.:)

Universal runs specials on AP's throughout the year and no one really knows when and what special is going to be featured. The best thing I can tell you is...when you see a special, take advantage.

AAA is running a special now. You can get an AP for $154 instead of the full price of $199. You must purchase it before 12/31 (I think) and redeem by 1/30. They can be purchased at any AAA South office & you do have to be a member to purchase them, or I should say, a member has to purchase them. You don't have to be a member to convert it over at US though. So while you may not be getting months free, you are saving a good deal of cash :thumbsup2

it's been 3 years now since the last BOGO for the PAP.

maybe it will come around next year?

those bogo sales seem to come around every 3-4 years.

crossing my fingers for you!

I first got my Universal AP like 8 years ago when they had one of those buy one year get the second year free offers. What's great about the Universal AP's is the renewal price of $109 for my preferred AP.For a bunch of year's I was renewing for only $99,so like 7-8 years later a $10 increase is nothing considering all the discounts and things like free parking and HHN discounts.

preferred annual pass renewals went up to $117.20 back in march of this year.

i was spoiled by the $99 renewals until this year it went up.

Bought a 2-year deal Preferred AP through Coca Cola for $200. Have another year left :)

I got my pass last year in December, I paid for 12 months and got 3 more months free

Hey Metro- Love the pics in your signature. Did you notice there is a new "Miser Brothers" movie on TV next week?
