best time to book flights for February 2015

Hey everyone,

When is the best time to book flights to MCO for Feb 2015 trip? Leaving from Buffalo (preferable) or Pearson?

We've already booked flights to DL in late March. I felt the prices were good, so we booked. One thing I found useful was selecting our preferred itinerary on Hipmunk and getting email notifications of price changes. Saves you a lot of work monitoring different websites.

I'm not quite certain. But I checked prices from YOW (Ottawa) to MCO a few months back and checked again yesterday, and the prices have dropped 30 dollars.

I booked our August flights from Buffalo on JetBlue in December 2013 as soon as I saw them come out. I've checked back regularly and I've never seen them lower than what I paid. It's been close a few times (paid about $400), and it's been over double a lot of the time, even seen triple. I liked the flights we booked because they are early morning (8AM) and direct non-stop on the way there, and later afternoon (6PM) non-stop on the way home. Gives us more time in The World.

I have seen a lot more variation on price for flights out of Pearson, especially if you don't mind later flights and one or more stops. There have been times it would have been cheaper to fly out of Toronto, but it'd have meant leaving later in the afternoon, and flying home early in the morning with multiple stops.

We booked our late July flights in November and paid $290 round trip! Direct flights on JetBlue, from Buffalo, one checked bag free and seat selection at no charge. My rule when booking flights is the earlier, the better.

Just booked Feb flights on Southwest yesterday. I saw alot of $113 flights to Orlando yesterday..
