Best Time Of Year To Stay At BLT

I am planning my first stay at BLT. Is there a better time of year to stay at BLT? VWL is great for the holidays, BWV/BC for Food and Wine, etc. I can't think of a season or time of year that BLT would be the preferred site?

We really enjoyed XMAS week there, simple fact the the MK is so incredible at XMAS. Then you have the NYE fireworks preview the 30th which you can have such a simple walk back-as well as NYE if you choose. The super long hours that week esp at MK makes popping back and forth great, and usually with FP's in hand for later. Castle lighting, XMAS day parade, extra shows-many reason to have quick access at your disposal. Maximize your rest because you can leave your room 10 minutes before whatever you are headed to MK for.

MNSSHP, MVMCP, NYE, and July 4th all feature special fireworks.

I agree about seeing the fireworks. I had to shorten my F&W stay this year, but I kept 1 night at BLT so I can see HalloWishes from the top of BLT.

I stayed in BLT in January, and the pool was shaded too early in the day. I don't think I will stay there in January again.

For us we thought October was the best time to try BLT and that is why we are staying there this year! You have MNSSHP at MK and you have easy access to EP for F&WF via the monorail. I know it isn't as easy as BWV or BCV but it comes pretty close

Have stayed at BLT in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Going to do Holiday next year.

Fall was the best so far because you have the Halloween fireworks and monorail access to EP. Although it is a little of a pain on the way back as you have to do the entire loop to get to BLT. Not as good as BWV/BCV but better than busing it. Got to see Mk testing out the Holiday lights every night around 2/3 am.

Summer was nice because when at MK it was an easy walk back to resort to swim or relax.

In Spring we went during Spring Break so parks were CROWDED. BLT made it MUCH easier when leaving MK. No waiting for monorail or boat with big crowds. Nice 5 min walk back to room.

Really looking forward to the holiday season as lights and fireworks will be really nice.

We love BLT for it's convience to MK, Epcot and monorail resorts. If you are going to spend a lot of time in those areas any time is a good time for BLT.

We stayed in October of 2011 for just two nights. Loved it for ease of access to 2 theme parks and for getting to see Hallowishes. Especially since they play it on resort TV. We like it better than wishes.

Ok sounds like fall or November to see holiday fireworks ( I don't think I could ever go Christmas week).

The best time of the year to stay at BLT is anytime you plan to be at MK at closing.

The best time of the year to stay at BLT is any day! I just love sitting with my cup of coffee on the balcony watching the boats on the lake!

Could not agree more! I loved sitting out on our balcony( lake view looking towards CR) and watching WDW wake up and getting ready for another day...so peaceful.
