I want to take my husband to disneyworld, he has never gone, what do you think are the best times to go?

based on what i've read, january is a godd time since its not overly hot, and less crowded, we are going the 10th - 16th so i will def comment when i come back.

HTH

My DH has never been to WDW either. :sad2: And I am taking him in Nov.26th-Dec.2nd. :yay: The Christmas decorations will be up. :santa: It will be cooler. And hopefully not so crowded. Happy Planning!! :thumbsup2

I've read that February is really nice as well. A little bit warmer than January, I believe. You have to make sure you plan around all of the cheerleading nationals and stuff though.

Good luck!

I've only ever gone in August, September or October. August was too crowded for my taste. I liked September and October better. Sorry I couldn't add more insight!

i think september is a good time of year for couples visiting without children. september is the start of school so there are LESS kids there. lines are shorter. and it is value season which means cheaper hotel prices and usually some fantastic deal from Disney like this year's free dining. i go to WDW or on Disney Cruise Line every september. it's HOT but there are plenty of ways to cool off!

it's so much fun bringing a new person to Disney! get your husband a Passporter Guide to WDW so he can see how much there is to see and do!

stina :wave2:

If he like wine and food go during the F&W festable.

DH and I have been in September and October, now we are going in December. We liked September and absolutely loved October. We are really looking forward to December for the decorations and other holiday extras. So I think that December will become our favorite.

We have been lots of different times and early December was our fav. But it is getting to busy for us then. Lines get to long for the wee ones. So we tried Oct/Nov last year and it was nice. This year we are trying Sept. We are hoping to find less people!

My favorite times we've gone, as far as crowds and weather, have been in May and October. Early December is another good time with all the holiday decorations. We've gone three times in February (our anniversary is February 14th) and the weather is unpredictable - our anniversary this year was real cold (jeans and sweatshirt weather).

Whenever you decide to go - have a great time! :goodvibes

I've gone two different years, the week before Christmas. It's pretty slow, the weather is not bad at all, and you get to experience the whole Christmas atmosphere. :)

ANYTIME!

Really, I have two favorite times, December and May. Beg of December: because of the Christmas decor and MVMCP. It's also fairly slow between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Beg of May: because of the awesome weather and its less crowded.

We have always loved Dec, but last year it was surprisingly crowded that first week. New Years is awesome, but EXTREMELY crowded!!!! We are trying Sept this year!

Best time to come to WDW is when you get here. We live here, and frankly love the hottest weather. I doubt most people feel the same. Best experience we ever had was near Christmas. Go to all the hotels and see the wonderful decorations.

Hurry up and get here!!
:thumbsup2

We have been in January, February and April/May. By far we like the end of April, beginning of May. The weather is great, we like to swim and love the water parks. It is after Easter but before the schools let out. To me it is a perfect time. :sunny:

I have been a couple of times in December and I really love it then. I can't even imagine going there without the Christmas stuff going on (ha, ha). I went the week before Thanksgiving one time and I loved that time. As you got closer to Thanksgiving it got more crowded but still OK.

Definitley early May. While me and my family were there we had a 10 minute wait for tower of terror and walked right on to space mountain. we were very lucky! :goodvibes

We have been to WDW only in Sept and early December. Both were good times because of low crowds (except for the last 2 days of our December trip with Florida schools closing for the holidays). WDW in December was beautiful but too cold to swim. We are going back in a month and are looking forward to using the pools and water parks again.
