Best time of day to play mini golf in June

Going in 2 weeks and we have 2 days off the parks. We want to play miniature golf but I'm thinking that sounds hot in the middle of June. Is it better to go in the evening? Is it overly crowded then? Could we get stuck there because the bus has stopped running? Thinking of Winter/Summer Land. I'd love any tips or suggestions.

We haven't played, but my sisters family plays every trip. They usually go 1st thing in the morning about midway through the week. It's not too hot then. Last week they went back about 8:30 one night to play. They were the only ones there.

. Oh yeah, we usually go the 3rd week of June.

We've played all of the courses & found them basically empty first thing in the morning. We always get there right when they open & it's worked out well. We basically have the place to ourselves.

If you're using a credit from a WPF&M option on your ticket, mini-golf has to be started before 4pm.

About the Disney buses to Blizzard Beach/Winter-Summerland, allears.net has this to say:
  • "TRANSPORTATION: Park your car in the Blizzard Beach lot or take a Disney transportation bus from your Disney hotel to Blizzard Beach. Bus transportation is available during Blizzard Beach operating hours. Guests may take Walt Disney World transportation directly to Blizzard Beach and walk to Winter Summerland. After Blizzard Beach closes and up until 9 p.m. nightly, guests can take the bus route that includes stops at All-Star Resorts, Blizzard Beach, and Epcot."

From your resort, most AK buses are also BB buses, but ask the driver. When done playing, the above para. means, up to 9pm, get a BB bus to Epcot. From Epcot, get a bus to your resort. After 9pm, I think you're on your own...

Play in the morning if evening is not an option. Come noon and beyond, that surface gets hot, minimal breeze... have sweat a lot. Nothing worse then behind held up by a busy crowd, roasting in the sun. Still fun, just try to go early and stay cool!

First thing in the morning is the best, we went 45 minutes after they opened last week and there was an hour wait already. Usually we get there a few minutes before they open and it's great. Have a fun trip!

Thanks we have one day off of the parks with no breakfast planned. Maybe that is the day to go first thing. Yes, we have that voucher we wanted to use. Seems like a fun thing if we aren't boiling.

We got to Fantasia Gardens one evening last June when a storm had passed but it was still sprinkling. We were the only ones there. By the time we were done, the clouds were gone and we walked to Beaches and Cream.

We've gone to Winter Summerland twice now and both times we went when they first opened in the morning (10:00??). There were only a couple other families there and it was perfect! Got out of there before it got too hot and still had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted. Super easy to take the Blizzard Beach bus, too--they're in the same parking lot.

Ok, I think we'll do that too. Sounds like a fun start to a relaxing day!

We will be there 14 days next June (last 2 weeks of June) and we will also have a WP&M option on our tickets and will have 4 "free" days so Mini Golf was also on our itinerary. Does anyone know why you can only use that option before 4PM?

Disney is trying to fill up less busy times at the courses. Plenty of paying guests come in the evening hours when the sun wanes and it cools down.

We went the 2nd week of June around 3PM. We were the only ones there for most of the time! Finally another family showed up! Of course it was hot, but most of the course is in the shade. We did the Winter/Christmas theme one. It was SUPER cute and the kids still talk about it:) If you send out Christmas cards, this would be a great photo op...so many adorable picture ops:thumbsup2
