For those of you who have done Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party...what time would you book a Liberty Town Tavern dinner? I know it's early, but I seem to remember that the ADRs fill up fast for the nights of the party so I want to be able to book when the dates come out.

Is it better to have a meal right at 4pm and then hang out in the designated area between 6pm and 7pm? Or should we try to schedule dinner around 5pm and try to hit some of the rides between 4 and 5 - assuming we can still get in early on the MNSSHP tickets.

We're going the 14th to the 21st of October and if the schedule follows last year's, there will be a Halloween Party on the Sunday and Thursday of the week that we will be there. I was hoping to hit a Tuesday, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen...

Thanks for all of your input. These boards are the absolute best for planning (although I think I may be driving myself crazy over it!).

We always get around 530pm and no later. That gives us time to enjoy the meal. We are then perfect for strolling over to get the free picture.

:wizard: We made our ADR for 5:00 pm for the last MNSSHP. I don't think I would want to make it for any later than 5:30 or so. HTH :wave2: Rebecca

Its a matter of preference or maybe what you are used to doing. I'm used and prefer having my ADR time around 5:30p so that I'm eating during the hour the park is officially closed and so that I'm done just as the party is about to begin. I get my photo done and then do rides etc..

But there are just as many who like eating at 4:00p so that they are all done and can do rides in the one area open for that hour.

We always go to the Crystal Palace at 5...that way the restaurant is not busy and the park is clearing out nicely.....we went this past Dec and when we were done with dinner there was a CM taking pictures in by the railing with the Castle as the backdrop and the sky was not quite dark yet....it was great!

I would do a 5 or 5:30. Last fall we got in at 4 (or was it 4:30) :confused3 We went on a few rides before our meal and when we were done eating, the park seemed almost empty! splash mountain, thundermountain had no wait times-we just walked on! We also did haunted mansion without a wait ;) THen when the party started, we could concentrate on all the characters/dance party in fantasy land and hit those rides before the waits were long! I would also make ressies as soon as you can, because i called at the 90 day mark and couldn't get Ltt for an early time. I actually didn;t get a adr for crt until about three weeks before our trip! I was calling all the time and getting nervous not to have adr for that night!!! Is mnnshp just hard to get ressies for???? :confused3

LTT was being booked since April 30 (since tickets went on sale) so within a month it was booked solid. Not sure why it took you so long to get the Castle though unless you waited too long. :confused3

I suppose we'll go ahead and try to make an ADR between 5 and 5:30. Hopefully with the ability to make reservations at 180 days, we will be able to secure a good time.
Thanks again for your help! I just can't wait for October to get here!
