Best time for group of 12 to head to ROTR

What would be the best time of the day for a group of 12 to ride ROTR this Saturday Jul 19/25? Group will be at Disneyland open to close, but don't think they will be there much before opening.

After 5pm. I have rarely waited more than 60 minutes around then. Lines will probably be even shorter if you end up going later in the night when the parades and fireworks are ongoing.

The typical drops in wait times occur around 9 AM, 6 PM and 9 PM. If you are in the vicinity and notice that it is down, it might be worth a drive by to see if it is back up and if so, what the queue looks like. We have used all 4 scenarios to ride with little to no wait. We have also made the trek back there just to find that the ride was closed or the wait times were wildly inaccurate. Good luck!
