I have ADRs for CRT on the first day of my trip. This will be my DD's first trip- she will be just over 3 when we go and is obsessed with Snow White. My ADR is at 1:00 for lunch. I am thinking about swtching it so it isn't mid-day.

Breakfast- I can bring her to the park in her costume- I dont want her wearing it all day so was planning on changing her right before but she will be hot and sweaty. It would be a great intro to DWD and she would be in a great mood from just getting up. However, we are not really big on breakfast, so we would be paying for food that isn't all that appealing. Of course, we are really going for the experience, the food is a lesser factor.

Lunch- Would like the food more, but not sure how tired/ready for a nap she will be. It will also break up the day a lot, which could be a good or bad thing.

Dinner- Dinner would be good because it could be a magical end to the day and I could still get food I like, but I am scared she will be so exhausted by then it will be a nightmare.

People that have been with children that age- is it better to go first thing, as a mid-day break, or a finale for the day?

I went with my DS (age 6 at the time) and DD (age 10 months at the time) and we did an early dinner (like 4 or something). It was great. They were both wide awake...still excited from everything we had done so far...they both loved meeting all of the princesses and the dinner festivities...my daughter was more wow'ed by the princesses than anything. When we left CRT, they were just starting to get a little tired, which worked out perfectly for use to go take a break, and come back later for the Main Street electrical Parade and Wishes....
Hope that helps.

I personally wouldn't do breakfast though...especially if you aren't a breakfast person.

We've done a late dinner & it was ok. Like breakfast much better. We try to do CRT on early EMH days & get the latest bkfst ADR (around 10:30). By then we are ready for a long break then we go back to the resort for some pool time.

you cant get an earlier lunch time. We have always done lunch.

With lunch we have used a backpack to hold her dress in a locker and changed her a bit of time before. That time was to show her off and ride a few Fantasyland rides. The Carousel is a must. We left shortly after lunch for the resort for a much needed nap.

You could do the dinner taking her out of her dress shortly after the meal. Our experience is that many of the dresses can be itchy.
