There are 5 of us & I am trying to find the best bang for my buck :). My DH thinks Universal/IOA won't be good for our 6 yr old daughter and he wants to take her over to Disney using our Disney passes. The older 2 kids really want to go to Universal/IOA, but my 9 yr old is small and won't be able to go on the same rides as my 12 yr old son (he likes thrill rides). If DH goes to Disney then I can't ride with my son (because that would leave my daughter alone). I don't mind taking the 2 older kids by myself but it will limit my son's options as his sister is less daring (and less tall ;) ).

The Orlando Flex ticket is pricey & would be worth it if we were going to be in Orlando for a week or so, but we won't be.

We fly in Sunday morning and check into a Universal Hotel (haven't decided which one)---head over to Universal & then over to Islands of Adventure in the afternoon, maybe dinner in WWOHP if able.

Monday: early morning access to WWOHP. Stay until it gets crowded and either head back over to Universal or to the hotel pool...not quite sure.

Check out of Universal hotel and head to our timeshare condo.

Tuesday: Sea World or Aquatica

Wednesday: Sea World or Aquatica

Thursday to Sunday: Disney Cruise

Monday: Fly home

Any suggestions???

maybe i'm reading this wrong but i thought your husband wanted to take the 6 yo daughter to disney the day you go to universal.

?

you can use the child swap for the rides.
you stay w/ the child that is not going on the ride while the other children do the ride.

then you switch.
one of the kids stays with a child while you ride w/ another one of the kids.

i tried to figure out when you are going by looking at your siggie.

maybe the second week of April?

book your UO hotel room now. don't wait until the last minute. during some periods, standard rooms will sell out.
onsite guests are allowed unlimited usage of the express lines and early entry to the parks for parry hotter ville.

I am going to try to have DH go to Universal with us because my 12 yr old will want someone to ride with him (not leaving the 9 yr old alone---that is what would happen if it was the 3 of us: me, my 12 yr old son, and 9 yr old daughter). DH and the little one can suck it up ;) and see what is beyond Disney's pearly gates. I am sort of joking. I've looked around Universal's site and I think my little one would enjoy the 2 days there even without being able to (or wanting to ride) ride everything. This our first trip to Universal. We are huge Harry Potter fans and that is why we are going.

I think I will just get Orlando Flex Tickets because buying a 2 days Park-to-Park for Universal & then the SeaWorld/Aquatica tickets end up being close in price.

I have a question about Orlando Flex Tickets. If we go to SeaWorld one day & then leave by 6 PM...can we go over to Island of Adventures? That might make it seem more price-worthy if we can keep returning to the WWOHP.

Thanks for helping me and answering questions!

We will arrive the morning of April 22. Check out 23rd and continue the rest of our plans :)

ioa and the studios hours for 4/22-3 are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

if you leave SW before closing, you'll have time to hit parry hotter before it closes.

many say that the potter section thins out in the last hour or so before park closing.

you can take the free rt shuttle bus to SW from your UO hotel.
it's a perk for hotel guests.
