Best Thing To Happen to you on a Disney Cruise

The best thing to happen to me was when I sailed on the Magic a year ago. One day it was pouring and I decided to go ride the Aqua Dunk. I ended up riding it ten times, with no line. The only people riding were me and my dad. I got soaked, but I had so much fun!! After six cruises, I think that was my favorite memory.

There are too many to tell them all.
On our 1st 7 day(our second cruise) my DS at 8 the time won the shuffle board tournament . At that time the used to give plastic award medals. They didn't have one for that event. DS was clearly disappionted. The CM brought medals and other gifts to the room for him. He was very excited.
On 7th cruise was the first for adopted DD 11 at the time. The CMs were out of their way to make it special for her with pins , plush etc.
It alsoo become a Double Dip at CC becuase of a hurriccane.
Panama Canal 15 nite was just unbelievable. Being on the ship that long was just unbelievable.
8/99 4day Magic
4/02 7 day Magic
8/03 7 day Magic
11/05 4 day wonder pin cruise
8/06 7 day Magic
8/08 15 night Panama Canal
8/09 7 day Magic double dip on CC
8/11 Alaska
12/12 Christmas on the Fantasy
2/14 5 day out of Miami on Wonder
12/14 New Years on the 7 day Magic
7/15 5 day wonder double dip CC
2/16 7 day Fantasy

LOL!!!!

NOT IT!!!! I'll gladly let someone else have that souvenir.

We didn't have anything extra special occur other than just randomly meeting Peter Pan and a couple of the princesses in the halls or on the stairs. They were all so wonderful about stopping to talk to my DD and have photos taken.

Sept 2103, my husband and I took a 3 nighter on the Dream (no sons!). Before dinner, on pirate night, we were wondering around and a CM told us the Jack Sparrow was in the DLounge. We walked in and no one was around. While taking pictures, he offered to "throw my husband over board", then then swept me backwards and kissed my check. IT was very cute and quite funny; and all because my husband did not want to have his picture taken with us!

THIS is why we love character greets.

We won a 7-day cruise while on the Magic in 2004 when picked to play Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer!

I'm just saying, RebeccaLovesDisney, I was picked to be in the "Phone a Friend" group (or whatever we were called) in 2004 on the Magic, and helped someone win a seven day cruise! Hahaha! I only got a super cute "Who wants to be a Mousketeer" pin for my effort, which I actually adore. :)

I won $100 playing Bingo. Not a big amount but I was pretty happy about it

On our first cruise, my four year old twins were quite enamoured with Ariel. She was very beautiful - I can't blame them. Anyhow, we coincidentally kept running into her all over the ship - it seriously must have looked like we were stalking her, but it was total fluke. My girls would always talk to her like she knew them and of course she went along with it and was so kind and gentle and sweet with them. On our last morning, we had an envelope clipped to our fish outside the room. My husband and I thought it was our bill (that was our first cruise, we didn't know). Anyhow, it was one of the pictures from Shutters of my girls with Ariel and it was signed saying, "I loved meeting new friends. Hugs and fishes, Ariel". They were so excited to think that 'Ariel' had come to our room to bring them this picture. It was seriously magical - even for me who had never even been to WDW! I'm telling you, it got us hooked ;)

Awww!! my daughter is OBSESSED with mermaids. A friend of mine has a 70# mermaid tail that she can swim in (very well i might add) and her grandmother used to be a mermaid at the weekiwachi show in florida (i don't know how you spell weekiwachi and I'm too lazy to look it up. lol) Anyway, she brought the tail to my daughters 6th bday last year and was in character the WHOLE time with ALL of the little girls there. She never let them see her with "legs." At the end of the day, I had a bag of marbles i had not used for decoration and my daughter was playing with them, my friend told her that if she wished upon the marbles, that one day she might have legs and they can meet again but that for now she had to go back to the ocean where there was salt water. She also said my daughter could always look out at the ocean and talk to her, which my daughter misunderstood and told me that "Lauralaine told me that i could go to the beach and call for her" *sigh* i might have a little mermaid caller on the boat LOL.

I hope we see ariel a lot. my dd will love it.

I celebrated my nineteenth birthday on the Fantasy in May 2013. It was utterly magical. My boyfriend decorated our stateroom which was wonderful in itself, but our stateroom host and servers went above and beyond for us! Our stateroom host gave me a birthday card and a birthday cake made of towels, and the entire server crew from the area we were in came together to sing me happy birthday! One fellow even pretended to play guitar on a wine bottle and plate combo :) It was amazing and silly and embarrassing but it was the best birthday I think I've ever had!

Won the last bingo of the cruise at $3400 - right before spending time at WDW. I got a new Dooney with that and paid cash for everything. We walked home still with money. I let my kid have whatever souvenirs he wanted or at least ones that I would not normally buy. On the same cruise, my inner 13 year old got to be in the same room as John Stamos. I nearly died…..I am pretty sure that is how I am now Castaway Gold and have two more currently booked.

Our daughter lost a tooth on our first sailing on the Magic, and I went to the gift shop to get a Tinkerbell pin to slip under her pillow. I mentioned what I was doing to the CM in the shop, since I was being a little furtive about how I was tucking the pin away. The next day DD received a special certificate and a special pin to commemorate the tooth.

Funny thing, she lost a tooth on the cruise the next year too!

A few years ago we were sailing the Mexican Riviera. On the morning of my birthday we went out on our verandah and there was seriously dozens of Dolphins swimming along side the ship. They followed along with us for a long time. Best birthday present ever. Only Disney could arrange that timing so perfectly!

I have a few::

Cruise 2014: Snorkeling with my Dad. We saw a sea urchin, fish as long as my dads leg (he's 6'1") and it was just all around a wonderful father-daughter experience. princess: (I'm an only child aka a daddy's girl lol)
My parents were in match your mate! They lost, but those are some stories I will forever be a little haunted by.... But still TOO MUCH FUN.
Snorkeling with my friend and seeing a 3-4ft stingray. I've got an AWESOME video of it with my gopro... It was deff giving me the "what the heck are you doing in my space little girl?!" eye.... :fish:
Cruise 2013: All girls cruise with my mom and aunt. We did the mixology, and OMG.... Those two after a couple drinks... HILARIOUS. Things I will never forget. "I've never done a shot." :eek:WHAAAT?! Aunt Cherrie... Lol. :rotfl:
Cruise 2012: Mommy-Daughter cruise. just the whole thing. It was wonderful spending quality time with my mom.

Being almost 25, it's hard to find common ground and something enjoyable to do with each of my parents, and I feel so lucky to spend good quality time with them.
