A while back many people suggested buying Nike Air Pegues for walking around Disney.

I bought a pair and they were the comfortable pair I ever wore. Well, they are worn out and I can no longer find anymore.

Can anyone advise on a good pair of Tennis Shoes (ps already own crocs).

THanks

The best ones depend on your feet. No matter what recommendations you get here, its how they fit your feet that count.

The best suggestion I can give is to go to one of those athletic shoe stores in your local mall and try on various brands. When you find one that feels comfortable on your feet - those are the ones to get.

Do this now, long before you go to WDW, because the second most important suggestion is that you make sure you break them in before you go to WDW.

I've always liked asics. DH and I have very high arches but the kids have very flat feet (go figure) but we still find asics that suit all our needs.

I like HI-TEC multiterra II sport tennis shoes, I bought a pair on clearance from Off Broadway Shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have. I am very picky about how my shoes feel, I have high arches. Anyway, that is my choice even though they are probably the ugliest tennis shoes in the store. Comfort trumps looks for me at DW.

I love New Balance. I went to their store and they measured my foot for a 360 degree fit. When we went in Thanksgiving, I could have walked forever. My feet NEVER hurt and we were on the go constantly, burning the candle at both ends!

My Adidas have always worked for me......Even my Adidas flip-flops are comfy for walking around WDW!

We are going in June and I have been wondering the same thing. Do you all think that skechers would be comfortable? I know you said it just depends on what feels good but i have reeboks, nikes and asics and none of them seem comfortable to me. Just wondering if anyone wore skechers and had success?

Another vote for New Balance, I teach water aerobics and my feet are pounding on the cement pool deck at least 10 hrs a week. I swear by my new balance 609's.

My dh and I have had our doctor tell us to only go with new balance. If it is for walking around the world remember to get the walking shoes (they look like tennis shoes) and make sure they aren't new when you go.

Last trip I followed advice from this board and took 2 different pairs of comfy athletic shoes. When your feet get tired of one pair you can switch for a day or so.... It worked out great! I'll do it that way again for sure.
As others have already said, be sure they're not brand new shoes.

My wife and I both bring two pairs of New Balance walking shoes. We've never had a problem with foot soreness.

Another vote for New Balance! I buy a 1/2 size bigger than what I normally wear. Very comfy shoes.

Well,

I went buy a pair of ascics (spelling) and a pair of New Balance.

BTW, the had some kind of sale going on and I got both pair for under $70 total.

Thanks again everyone.

Unlike other companies that use 3 lasts...the things they form the shoes on...New Balance uses 9. That means you can't count on every pair of their shoes fitting you equally well. Try on a bunch.

Once you find a pair you like you can always contact the company and they will tell you the current models made on the same lasts.

I found them thanks to my podiatrist. I had plantars faciatis that was so bad that once I sat down at night I almost couldn't get up and walk again. I have also had two major surgeries on my right ankle and a surgery on my left foot. Plus, my feet ar super wide. I have BAD feet. Most shoe companies don't make a shoe I can even wedge my feet into. And, when I can I have major pain within a short time.

As soon as I switched to New Balance I got my life back. I can stand all day...walk all day...and never have a bit of pain!
