we went up to deck 10 midship to forward areas... we usually snagged the chaise lounges inside the little "alcove" near Signals... there's two little areas on port & starboard sides that are out of the foot traffic path.

You can also try Deck 7 and Deck 8, all the way aft. These places are a little more private. Barb has pictures on her site:

Hey Jeanny.....that little alcove on the port side of deck 10 near Signals bar was our favorite spot too. We had a big group...15 adults so we really took up that area!
