We have eaton at Tony's town square and the Crystal Palace. We love the Crystal Palace, but are wondering..... is there another great table service restaurant at the Magic Kingdom that we are missing???

Your thoughts please - thanks

Our favorite is Crystal Palace for breakfast and The Plaza for lunch or early dinner. The Plaza is strictly soups, salads and sandwiches. But we enjoy it after all the heavy meals we eat on the dining plan. The shakes and desserts are....:worship:

Not to be snarky, but my answer would be "no"! There are some cute places, but for good food, I think of resort restaurants or Epcot.

Nobody's mentioned CRT for breakfast? We love to eat at the castle! And that blueberry danish-thingy is delicious! We may have to try the Plaza...we've never eaten there before.

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Plaza! The sandwiches were tasty and dessert was delish!

We also are big fans of LTT. The first time we went there I was in awe because I came down with an awful, awful cold while at WDW and all I wanted was comfort food, especially carbs. Boy did I get my fill!

The MK has restaurants oriented to its customers. The Plaza is a decent enough sandwich shop that is appropriately Disney priced. We eat lunch at CRT and the atmosphere and food are great. CP is a really lovely restaurant with pretty good food and Pooh to boot.

None of these are high end dining or the hole in the wall place with the best tacos anywhere. They are good, solid restaurants with decent food priced at Disney levels and we're going to all of them in three months.

We did Tonys this past Friday and loved it! DH requested it for our June trip as well...the calamari was amazing

We always have to eat at Tony's our last night of every trip. I know that there's been crazy mixed reviews of the place on here..but we've never had a problem with it.

Thanks for all of the responses. My boys (21 and 16) want to do breakfast at the Crystal Palace so we will probably do that - then maybe beebop over to the Contempory and Polynesian for lunch - are there any other good restaurants that are on the monorail? ::MinnieMo

At the Contemporary during lunch the only restaurant that is open is The Wave. So here are links to their menu and to a great review about it.

They also have the Contempo Cafe which is their brand new counter service location and it's very good, so here is a link to their menu.

At the Polynesian their only table service location open for lunch is Kona Cafe, which seems to get good reviews on here. So here is their menu for you to look at.

Besides their counter service location is called Captin Cook's which also has some good items on their menu.

We have always enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern. We did not eat there last time since it was non-character and the kids wanted to do a character meal, but I have been told the food and service is just a good. DH and I will be going back in Oct by ourselves and plan to have lunch here. We are looking forward to it.

Liberty Tree Tavern is good, Dinner is with Goofy and it is family style traditonal. I love CP also for Lunch or breakfast then you always have CRT. I am not a big Tony's fan, only tried it once though.

No more characters! Food isn't bad, reminds me of Thanksgiving, but not great.

We love CP for lunch, never tried it for bfast, but we did try it for dinner in 08 and we were NOT impressed. We also found out that we enjoy family style more than buffet simply because with 2 kids and characters it feels very hectic.
With that said, we love LTT, the food is not very upscale, but we have always found it to be good. I am very sad about the characters, and I have 2 boys who love characters, but we will be returning in April and this will be our MK meal.

My favourite is Crystal Palace.

Liberty Tree Tavern is probably in second place, but I prefer their lunch menu over their dinner menu.

Never eaten at Tony's.
