Hey everyone,
I posted about a good lightweight stroller last night and I am down to these three brands and am wondering from those who have these brands if you can help me make up my mind which one to buy???? It is for my two year old son, I would like one that reclines when he sleeps, comfortable, has some decent storage space, easy to push and fold up and out, and of course lightweight to carry??? A foot rest would be nice, but not a necessity...Thanks everyone.

I just got a combi soho DX for our trip. It was the best value and was delivered next day for free. (they said 7-10 days but I live only two states away). it was rated to 45 plbs and fold up pretty easy. My fav thing on it was the carrying strap. Works great and light. Does not work well in sand.

Hi! I posted a detailed response on your other thread where you were looking for a stroller. I personally love the Maclaren strollers. Maclaren Techno XT does have a basket underneath the seat. It reclines and it has a footrest. Most importantly, it is lightweight yet sturdy and folds up with ease! Good luck in your search!

I think Maclaren makes great lightweight strollers. I don't like Combi's at all. I had one a few years ago, so maybe they've improved, but I felt like the wheels were "wobbly" and I was always kicking the back wheels when I walked with it (and I'm only 5'3"). I love Peg's too (just bought a P3) but I don't find them to be as light and compact as the Maclarens.

My maclaren of choice would be the Quest. It is a little smaller and lighter than the Techno. I would definately get the Techno for a younger child, but over 2 you might find the Quest a good buy. I tried the Triumph for my 2 year old also, but didn't like the seat on it at all. The best thing is to really try them with your child if you can get to a store that sells them (babies R us has all 3 models I believe).

Good luck!!! I have been living in stroller dilemma since we booked our trip, LOL!!!

We also have a Combi Soho and I LOVE it! We bought it for our 21 month old son before our last WDW trip and it was perfect. DS was comfortable but it was also so lightweight and folds up so well that it was perfect for the busses, etc.. It is my favorite stroller by far.

Hmmm I was having a similar debate (with myself!). I have a Pliko P3 and love it to bits, but it's just that little bit too bulky. I trawled the baby stores and decided on the Maclaren Quest. Nice little stroller for the money - reclines well enough for an older baby or toddler (my little chap is 11 months) and the rain cover is an absolute doddle to attach and folds up into a nice little square - unlike the one on my Pliko P3. I'll be testing it out next Friday...that's when we flyyyyyyyyyyyyy :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I found a great stroller at strollers.com . My dilemma was the weight it held
child up to & weight of an umbrella stroller. I bought a Kidco . I think the
style was lifestyle2000. They have free S&H. I love  it. Its a lifhtweight
unbrella stroller that holds up to 50 lbs. take a look at it I researched buying a stroller for about 2 months & am thrilled with this. They will take it back if u dont like it & has a good warrenty. Good Luck. Let us know what u descide.

I have a Maclaren Quest and Volo, a Peg Perego Pliko (not the P3), and an Inglesina Zippy.

The Pliko sits in the garage not being used, the Quest and Zippy are used ALL the time! Belle uses the Quest most of the time, we use the Zippy for Ellie, it's like the pliko but handles slightly better and folds like a dream!

I've owned a few Combi's and I'd skip them, they're light and easy to use but I've always found them to be a bit on the flimsy side and customer service leaves a lot to be desired!

We're taking the Zippy/Quest or Quest/Volo tomorrow for our trip, I haven't decided which combo yet.

I have a Maclaren Quest and I LOVE IT! Easy to push and my DS likes riding in it. And that is saying a lot!

I just bought a Maclaren Quest stroller and it is awesome. I got it for my 3 yr old son who has low muscle tone - he can walk fine but has endurance issues - so I needed something that would hold a heavier weight child.

This stroller is so cool my only regret is that it wasn't the 1st stroller I got for him. His baby stroller was a Peg Perego Milano (I found a new one online before his was born for $89). The PP is a great stroller for some things but both the ones I've had refused to fold up after awhile. I didn't want to buy another PP because of that. I've heard nothing but good things about the Maclarens though.

 Of the 3 you are asking about I have owned Combi and most recently Maclaren. I would vote for Maclaren. The Combi was flimsy and after a while did not push too well. I got the Maclaren for the high weight limit (55pounds) and it glides effertlessly and pushes with only one hand. My husband also says why did we not know about this 3 kids ago?! I love it and am looking forward to using it in Disney. Ours is a Volo which does not recline, but they have many models that do and I am sure they would be just as great.

Hi there,
i am a stroller fanatic and have brought so many it is unbeliavle i have at the moment a maclaren techno xt and a pliko p3 but by far the best is the maclaren!! We took it to wdw and it was great for all our kids. It even took our 4yr olds weight no problem.
When we use both pushchairs my brother always says the maclaren is the racing stroller and the p3 is the old man!! Hope that helps but as ou may have guessed my vote is for a maclaren any day !!!

Duplicate post...nothing to see here...move along... :goodvibes

Maclaren, Maclaren, Maclaren! I had one for my older child and we sold our Peg Perego Aria Twin (overpriced POS) we got when the twins were born and bought a Maclaren Rally Twin. Mama's happy once again!
