Most stores have a range in the quality. Look at the original price and how many square feet. I look for rolls that are in the range of 25-40 square feet and in the $4-$8 price range and then buy at 75%-90% off. I like the smaller rolls, because I don't want to have tons of paper in one style-I get bored too easily!
After years of messes, I purchased a wrapping paper container just for Xmas. I stocked it last year and just brought it out this year. I was all ready to go and paid pennies on the dollar for everything.
This year I'll refill with what I need and be all ready for next year.
I like nice paper and tags, but not the high prices!
