It sounds like there are many great restaraunts to get a nice steak from.

Can I please ask everyone to give their opinion on THE best place to go for steak?

Looking forward to hearing all the opinions :)

The best steak ever from disney is at Flying Fish.

Worst ever was Yachtsman steakhouse.

Best: Le Cellier or Kona Cafe depending on what you are in the mood for.

Worst: Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom... need I say more? :sad2:

I can't believe nobody ever mentions Brown Derby on these steak threads. They have a wonderful filet and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like steak!

The filet I had at Le Cellier (and will be having again next month) was perfection! We had them put the sauce on the side and we ordered a side of Bearnaise sauce, mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmmm!

Allyson :)

THe last 2 trips (Nov and Dec 2007) our best filets were at Jiko and Brown Derby. I agree with the other poster that the Brown Derby has a great filet and its always over looked.

Our worst steaks were at Le Cellier both in Nov and Dec. They were either over cooked or under cooked. After 2 experiences like this, I really have no desire to go back.

In this order...

Yachtsman Steakhouse (4 amazing meals here)
Shulas (great food, free day care)
California Grill (great food, amazing view)

I do love my steak but I'm not a huge fan of filets--they are tender but lacking in flavor compared to other cuts. Most of the places serve only filets.

So best filet: JIKO.
Best steak: Yachtsman (I like the NY and the ribeye was very good also)

The prime rib at Boma is awesome, especially considering that Boma is a buffet. Brown Derby has a terrific filet mignon. Le Cellier has really good steaks too.

Shula's
Yachtsman
Flying Fish

and surprisingly.... BlueZoo has a filet mignon that is unreal. It might be the only steak on their menu, but it was amazing.

DH, who considers himself to be a steak connoisseur, said the NY Strip at Tony's was one of the best he's ever had.

The charred strip at Flying Fish is the best I've had. JIKO's filet would have to be second and LeCellier's Mushroom Filet third.

I think I'm going to have to try Flying Fish's steak on my next trip.
