Best steak?

Where can you find the best steak? Considering LeCeilier. We are a group of 12 . Just wanted someones opinion. Thanks If it helps any we are staying at the Dolphin and will be there for 8 days.

The best steak I have ever had in my life was a few years ago at The California Grille - it was truly unbelievable! (I have also been to Yachtsman Steakhouse and Le Cellier - both good but nothing comparable)

I had a fantastic Ny Strip at LE Cellier this past Christmas. I would really have to put it on the top of my list, but I have not been to the Yachtsman Steakhouse or Shula's, yet.

There is also your regualr chain steakhouse like Morton's and Ruths Chris, which are very good in all of the other cities I've dined at and Orlando.

But, for WDW steaks, Le Celier is a must do. Don't forget the cheese soup. Have Fun

In October we felt the steak at Le Cellier was better than the one two days before at Narcoosees.

Although I've been to some good steak houses (like Mortons and Ruth Chris) and even the same night the same steak (my husband and I both ordering a NY Strip for instance) there will be variation in the taste and texture - and even more variation from night to night. As well as subjective variation - sometimes a bottle of beer tastes really really good, and sometimes its just ok - even if you get the bottles from the same pack.

(Yachtsman apparently does Angus beef - if you have a preference).

Just back from 10 day trip. The best steak hands down was at the Flying Fish. This is actually the best steak me and my husband have ever ordered out. We ate their twice last week.

I would have to vote for Le Cellier! DH is a filet mignon fanatic - only steak he will eat. He liked it so much on our last trip in July that his only request for this upcoming trip in Feb is that we get PS for Le Cellier - which I did!

The best steak i've had is at the Le Cellier. We had a party of 18 and we all loved it. ANother good steak house is CaliforniaGrille in the Contemporary.

My vote is Yachtsman.

We've eaten steak at Calif Grill and Le Celier as well.
Haven't tried Concourse or Shulas though.

My DH and I both vote for Shula's at the Dolphin. We were both Yachtsman Steakhouse fans until our visit in 12/03. We think they have slipped a little but both agreed Shula's was GREAT. Have a magical trip! Also, welcome to the board Iwishfordisney.

I think we are going to try LeCeiller. That soup looks sooo good.
We are all soo excited. I wanted to go on our last trip however DH was not in the mood Yes it was one of those 98 degree days when evryone was in a mood and being the 7 th day of our trip and tired. However there will be no excuse this trip Thanks for the input.

Just got back....................

We tried the Yachtsman on this trip, because of the 10% DVC discount, otherwise, I'm not sure that we would have gone to "just another steakhouse"................Excellent, Excellent, Excellent........had the Filet Mignon...........can't say enough about this place..........We will go back on our next trek.............

I've been to Le Cellier, California Grille, but never to Shula's........I hear Shula's is wonderful but no first hand experience........

We are just back and DH had steak on three separate nights. And I tried a bite of each

Filet at the Cali Grill
Filet at Jiko
NY Strip Streak at Le Cellier

He loved the Strip Steak the best. It had better texture than either of the filets.

The red wine reduction sauce at Jiko was incredible as well.

So in order it would be, Le Cellier, Jiko, then Cali Grill.

If you have not tried Shula's you really can't say what is the best steak. We've eaten at all of the "steak" places and Shula's is head and shoulders above the rest.

Shula's was outstanding for a high quality, simply but perfectly prepared steak. No fancy sauces or spice crusts to be found, but that was fine by me. The Creme Brulee was also heaven in a dish...

The best steak I've ever had - anywhere, not just on vacation - was at the Flying Fish. I've had it several times there and it's just as good every time. Beats out any of the steak houses on property.

The filet at Jiko. Seved with mac & cheese(no kidding). Best filet of my life.

Best steak I've had is at the Portobello Yacht Club! The "Bistecca alla Griglia" a ribeye steak with parmigiano cheese crust was out of this world!
