Best spring weeks- 2017

we are interested in planning a trip to WDW in the spring of 2017. I am debating over the very last week of February into the first week of March vs the very last week of April into the first week of May. Which should be better, and why? I prefer to have crowds at their lowest. We always camp at FW.

This will be our fourth trip, and likely our last for a while, because my DD will start school in fall 2017. We've done October 2014 (crowded, but perfect weather), early April 2012 (very crowded, very hot that year), and early Dec 2010 (perfect- no crowds, awesome weather). I tried to book a site for the first week of Dec this year, but no availability, plus I'd like more time to plan.

We were always stuck with going during summer, Christmas or Easter when my daughter was in school. All crowded times of course. Last year I went the second week of May and it was fantastic as Easter was over and kids were still in school. Of course there are no non-crowded times in the parks anymore, but I found the second week of May was less crowded, so much less, that I as shocked. Went one year labor day weekend and after, thought that was great, but then I did May. I vote for May. (although I have never been in February)

you just missed the crazy rain of 2014 and snow of 2010? I'm not even going to try to speculate when you should go next, you have had some great luck so far. You might want to watch for when pandora is going to open, that could make may next year really packed if it's opened by then

Our Spring break (province of Quebec) is always the last week of Feb/first week of March and that is when we will always go now that we experience that time of year with the kids. Before this year we would combine WDW with our annual beach trip but Feb/March is much nicer in term of weather and crowds. The parks were not empty but very manageable and were able to do all the rides with less than 30 min wait (using RD and FP+ strategy).

Yes- we've been lucky with the weather! It was very hot and humid during our April trip, with some quick afternoon showers, but overall not bad.

We are not tied to the two weeks I mentioned above- can travel any time between January and mid August 2017, so if anyone has better suggestions, I'm all ears! My two priorities are low(er) crowds and high temps <90!
