We are making our first trip to Blizzard Beach in late August.
I've seen a few older threads (dating back 5-10 yrs ago) that discuss the best spots for shade etc. However, I am guessing that the park has changed over the past few years and wonder what the best spots are currently. We are going to have a large group (6 adults, 7 school aged children) and all but one of the kids will be over 48 inches...so I don't anticipate spending much time by Tike's Peak.
We need a shady area, with enough seats for everyone. Preferably with a picnic table near by too. I'm guessing that the wave pool area is our best bet - but I also read that a lot of the areas around the wave pool have been converted to "polar patios". Also - close to a bathroom would be great as well. I'd love a hut area if those are still available for free...but where are they located by ?
Can anyone advise as to the best areas to stake out a spot ?
thanks in advance !!!
