If we spend 3/4 of a day away from WDW and go to Universal to visit the new Harry Potter World attractions (if open duirng Easter week 2010) - where should we eat lunch ?

We like to aet at sit down places with A/C.

We do not know alot about Universal - just that it will cost us about $60 in transportation to and from WDW.

Can we make an ADR , like you can at WDW, for Universal restaurants ?
When can we call for our Universal 'ADR' ? 90 day mark ? 180 day mark ? 2 weeks before?

Please help us plan.

Thank you ! ;)

Mytho's is the best sit down rest in the park. You dont need ADR's for it.You can reserve a seat as you walk in the park, they got a booth for it.Most times you wont need it.

As far as transportation try pricing Mears,$60 sounds steep.

As we get closer to the opening of Harry Potter the demand will rise for transportation between US and WDW. We will likely see more competition, lower prices and better advertising from those providing the transportation. Keep you eyes open for this right before your trip.

And Easter week with HP open will be CROWDED. You can (and should) make reservations at Mythos up to 30 days in advance. Too bad you only have 3/4 day. IoA is the best themed park, anywhere.

If you have never been to Universal, trust me, there is MUCH MUCH more to it than just the up and coming Harry Potter land. Try living in Jurassic Park, looks just like the island in the movie, or try living in a Dr. Suess book, or a Marvel Super Hero comic book. Extremely well themed, just as good as Disney. Trust me you would want to spend a whole day, if not 2 or 3 checking out Universal and Islands of Adventure (where HP will be.) And no I do not work for Universal. :lmao:

I agree on Mythos...it's not only in that area, but it is FANTASTIC!!
