Hi,
We'll be on the May 10 Western, and our baby will be 22 months at that time. Can someone please recommend some fun shore excursions that are suitable for babies aslo? We have other kids also, (DD9, DD5). Thanks.

We had fun in Key West with our DS (13 mos) just doing the trolley on our own.

As for other excursions, we put our son in babysitting for a few hours and did some excursions on our own. Well worth it.

Have a great time.

Thanks for the reply :) I forgot about Flounder's. That sounds like a good idea. Do you remember how expensive it was?

Do you pay by the hour and is there a maximum or minimum time limit? We will be travelling in May with our DD who will be 7mths and wondered about the Flounder's Daycare support and guidelines. Any info would be appreciated.

Flounder's was $6 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. They have many different time slots available. I remember that each evening they had from 5:30 - 12 midnight and on port days and at sea days the daytime hours varied. On Grand Cayman day I can't remember the earliest time, but you had to pick them up by 1:00 p.m. On Castaway Cay day you had to pick them up by 4:00 and on Cozumel day it was by 4:00 also.

I was completely comfortable doing excursions and leaving my son with the staff in Flounders. They were wonderful and he LOVED it there. Plenty of toys and attention. It was a much needed break for mom, dad and big sister also!

Have an awesome time whatever you decide to do. If you want to take the little one on any excursions be sure to phone Disney in advance and make sure that the excursion is for all ages. There were age limits on most of them.

I have not personally done the Tulum ruins tour (we wanted to but it was full) but I have heard that it would NOT be good for little ones. Lots of walking and climbing. Strollers won't work and the trip is LONG. That is one of the excursions offered that the entire family can do though.
