Best shoes to wear with dresses at Disney?

Any suggestions for comfortable shoes that are acceptable to wear with casual dresses? We are going next month and I would love to be able to wear dresses for most of the trip as I personally feel I look the best in dresses. But I have NO clue what kind of shoes to pair with them that won't kill my feet!

Sandals. Merrill, Teva, Kamik, Sanuk, and Crocs all have sandals that are comfortable enough to walk in and cute enough to wear with dresses. Crocs and Merrill gave some low wedges that probably work. I have been wearing them around the house but I haven't tried them in the park yet. I have Sanuks, kamik mustiques, and Teva Veras that I have worn in the park that are cute and comfortable.

Going to Disney and reading all these types of posts has encouraged a bit of a shoe problem for me. I have too many sandals. Especially given that I live in Chicago. Sigh.

Comfortable, light sneakers - wearing sneakers with dresses has become quite a trend for the past couple of years now

I just wear my Teva Tirra with everything (I've got 2 pair). Less shoes to pack - I'm attempting to pack less and less each trip which my husband says is a miracle. LOL

I go in August and it rains often. I am planning to wear dresses this time too. I think dresses work better in the heat. I am planning to wear Teva sandals (ok with rain) and Teva wedges (just got a pair). Just get a bit tired with tees and shorts all the time. You get kind of bored looking at the trip pics over the years.

I hate Uggs boots. Hate. Imagine my surprise that I now own 4 different pairs of their shoes! :rotfl:The espadrille tie ones are my absolute favorites!!! I just bought another pair because my old ones are wearing out. I also have them in a back canvas. Love them all - I walk about 7-9 miles a day, no discomfort. Sooo cute with dresses/skirts. Bringing all these to WDW :) .

I also have these crocs (this color and blue) for when my feet are tired and need some cushiony feels. These are coming too. Cute, not clunky. :)

I like shoes. I can talk shoes all day. ::yes::

I recently made a post on some cute sandals. I always wear a non athletic sandal with a back. Yes, I care about I represent myself, and a sundress, sandal, no bags and a widebrim straw hot are great for staying away from that melty/winkly/sweaty look. I have great feet though I do have some small foot drop in my left foot which sometimes still arises when I'm very tired and I'll switch to wedge sandals, sounds weird, but it REALLY helps my keep my gait normal. The wedge does the work in keeping your foot heel toe. It rarely bothers me anymore, but I keep a pair of espedrialles for just such an occasion - which are also a great choice. I used to be able to do backless sandals, but they can be problem for me. I see people wear them all the time. Everytime I've worn professionally fitted, moisture wicking or cute sneakers I've gotten horrible blisters in a few hours. My feet are really narrow and skinny, or perhaps really sweaty? Anyhow, wear what you feel great in! My feet really never hurt.

I always wear those little socks you can't see, peds, when I wear my shoes above. That way if it's especially hot, my feet don't sweat in my shoes and then, no smelly shoes. :scared: I never wear shoes that I would wear all day without socks. Bonus, no blisters!

I do like fun sandals also, but for me that's more for dinner or something as I can't walk as long as I can in my other shoes.

I generally wear dresses too, but I can't stand for my feet to be uncomfortable, so I still wear sneakers.

crocs or sketchers- just bought 2 more pair of the relaxed fit ones with rhinestones. I live in these type-yr round heat-so these are very tested. Plus we go to wdw a couple times a year and only wear these there. I wear a dress almost every day-casual, sundresses...that kind of thing and I think it looks cute with them.

I think about this a lot. I have never been and dont know what will be comfortable but i have a hard time sacrificing style too much. Need to find a nice shoe that fits both. Hopefully I can get away with my Birks and casual sneakers (Nike prestos or Huraches, Converses). The Huraches were awesome when I did a 9 mile/day weekend in Chicago.

IMG_5269.PNG IMG_5270.PNG IMG_5271.PNG I wear all of these rainbows and reef. I like comfortable AND cute. I typically wear the Swarovski for dinners with my sundresses/maxi dresses. I've had them all for at least 5 years and will be bringing them for our May trip. I bring no less than 6 pairs with me.

And these if I'm feeling extra sparkly for dinner. But not for all day
