Best shoes for kids

I have two children ages 8 and 10. What shoes have you all had success with at Disney. Sandals or gym shoes?

We have had great success with Keen's for my kids when they were that age and even younger. They will each be wearing them for most of our trip in August (as will my wife and I). They are good hiking sandals with covered toes to protect against stubs. They are also waterproof which is great for Splash Mountain, Kali River Rapids, etc. They can be a little pricey, but I truly believe they are worth it.

Our son, now 12, has worn New Balance kids running shoes on our 3 trips. They were great, comfortable, and never any blisters!

My kids wore saucony sneakers both times.

All 4 wear nothing but crocs. We always take sneakers, etc. but all they want are their crocs.
