Are trying to decide how to use our TS credits for our upcoming last minute trip. We have four each to use. Planning to use two at Jiko(staying at AKL so this is convenient, the menu looks very interesting and all the reviews seem positive).

Figured we'd use the other two for another great meal(one day we'll eat our way through the F&W festival at Epcot so don't need our dinner credits that night anyway...can easily adjust another day as well especially since we don't want to be bound to reservations every night).

Asked husband what type of cuisine he would like for the other upscale dinner. He replied "seafood" Just wondering where the best seafood at WDW(on the DDP too) is to be had?

Thanks!

I'm also looking for good seafood.
When we were there last month I ate salmon at 2 different TS
and both were very good.
Most menus that I saw offered a Grilled Salmon Main Dish on them and it seems to be very good.:thumbsup2
I am thinking of Eating at Les Chefs of France in Epcot next Trip
because it had several fish choices on there menu.

we ate at the FF last week and it was great, from app to dessert, almost as good as the CG.

FF? CG? Sorry I'm not versed on Acronyms! Have no idea what these mean....

Will check the Chefs of France menu. We love fish but normally don't order salmon in restaurants because 1) we prefer to only eat wild and avoid farmed and 2) we eat it at home all the time.

I have had excellent seafood dishes at Chefs de France over the years. I highly recommend it.

Flying Fish is also very good, though a bit pricier.

Spoodles often has a seafood dish (sometimes a stew) which is also quite good.

Unfortunately, one of the bast seafood spots (Blue Zoo) isn't on the DDP. Of those that are, I think Flying Fish is the best place.

I totally agree. Flying Fish is very good, but I think BlueZoo is better.

Narcoosee all the way! They are two ts credits, but have a wonderful Maine lobster entree as well as other seafood dishes. Check out their menu. Another bonus, you can see the MK fireworks and the water parade. They dim the lights and play the music. It is absolutely magical.:goodvibes

narcoosees here as well!

whole lobster, crabcakes, scallops - all delicious!!

Depends what kind of meal you are looking for I think.

Narcoossee's is really romantic and ideal for a dinner for two as it is set out on the lagoon.

If you're wanting a busier atmosphere then the larger (but still atmospheric)Flying Fish is better, and more suited to a larger table (in my opinion!)

The food in both is outstanding, and the seafood delicious. I would say the range of seafood is probably better in Flying Fish, but the quality is excellent in both.

For what it's worth, I would choose narcoossees, unless your group is larger than 4.

We love seafood...

NO to Narcoossee's
NO to Coral Reef
NO to seafood @ L'Cellier, excepting the mussels appetizer
NO to seafood @ Resturant Marrakesh in Morocco @ Epcot

YES to Fulton's Crab House
YES to seafood paella @ Spoodles
YES to seafood dishes @ California Grill

Haven't tried Flying Fish

My DW is not much of a seafood person (allergic to shellfish), but I love it. How are the nonseafood dishes at FF?

I haven't tried any non-fish entrees at Flying Fish because, well, we all wanted the fish :) , but on another thread about 'where is the best steak on property' someone raved about the one there.

I can highly recommend Flying Fish and Narcoossee's; avoid Fulton's like the plague (which I think is what the waiter gave us our last visit....)

DH said he wanted to get a Maine lobster when we went on our trip and we went to Narcoosee. He said he wants to go there again on our next trip. He was really impressed, and wait until they show you the dessert tray. WOW is all I can say--what presentation!
