Starting to get the details worked out before we leave in May. Looking for the best route to get from the Windsor Hills development to the Magic Kingdom. Looking at parking from a satellite picture I am not exactly sure how to get there.

Also,
Anyone traveling on I95 south bound, is there a better way to get to Windsor Hills besides I4? I was thinking perhaps I95 to 407 to 528 to get to it.. What do you all think?

Thanks!

Hi we have rented many times at WH and never have take the way that you say in this post, it´s very very simple to reach WH and all that you need to do is go to Animal Kingdom when you are arriving AK is a signal on your left to Sherbert road make a left and go all the way down (about half mile) and after cross 192 the road ends in a resort make a left then a rigth and continue only a quarter mile and the gate of WH is on your right, it sounds complicated but after done it a couple of times is more easy than go to the all stars, it´s no more than 5 minutes to go from Windsor Hills to Animal Kingdom and then is about 8 more minutes to reach Magic kingdom, you can see it at Yahoo maps with a satelite view follow Sherbert road and then N OLD LAKE WILSON ROAD and you are at Windsor Hills, I can say that is faster to go from Animal Kingdom to WH than to Animal kingdom to Wilderness Lodge, hope this help and have a magical weekend:cool1:

Depends on when you think you'll be coming through Orlando. Takeing I-4 to the 417 to the 528 back to I-4 wont save you any time if its not rush hour.

Honestly, the 417 (Greenway) is SO far out of the way that even during rush hour I'm not sure it saves that much time. Sometimes I think you should just stay on I-4 because it's the most direct route.

Hmm, I wouldnt completely agree with you there. The other day, traffic was backed up from Maitland Blvd to John Young Parkway, at near idle speed. You dont want any of that. The 417 can be beneficial. If the 429 loop was complete I would recommend that.

Thanks for the replies. I was actually thinking of coming in this way off I95

What do you all think? How is the drive on 528? We would almost entirely bypass I4

Well, you'll add about an hour to the trip that way. Very rarely is I-4 backed up for an hour, even at rush hour. But if you're not coming through at rush hour, then I-4 is your quickest route.
