Best rooms, toiletries and amenities at Art of Animation (Lion King)

Hi friends,

Has anyone recently stayed in the Art of Animation resort recently? The family and I are heading out in August, staying in a Lion King suite, and I wanted to know which were the best rooms to stay in (if any)?

Also, we stayed in Old Key West last year and I loved the H2O+ shampoo, conditioner, bodywash: are these available in Art? I’ve heard they were removed from the Value resorts?

We were in the cars suites so I don’t know which building is the best for lion King. It also depends on what youre looking for too.

In the rooms, they have the H2O supplies. I recall soap, shampoo and conditioner. I don’t remember about body wash or lotion.

Loved AoA. Two bathrooms, three sleeping surfaces, very disney theming...
Worst part was the bus... all the stops except AK are the very furthest ones...

YES, my only complaint was the bus stops for AOA were so far and a the end of the day it was so exhausting. I was not expecting that detail, but now that I am aware of it I'm sure it won't bother me next time. Yes, I said next time b/c we would stay there again in a heartbeat. We were in the Little Mermaid rooms, second level, as a family of 4, no complaints. Next time we will get a room that is ground level that faces the pool. Mermaid pool is quiet and not busy at all. Yes you walk farther, yes the rooms are smaller than the suites but the resort itself it so lovely and colourful that you can't be grumpy there at all. LOVED every minute of our stay.
