What (standard and deluxe view) rooms do you guys recommend when staying at the Disneyland Hotel? Which tower is your favorite and why? Any other tips for staying there?

A room on the higher levels will give you a view. Some of the lower floors have trees and plants blocking the view. I like the Adventure Tower DTD view.

I've seen some people say to not check in online in advance, as it can maybe lead to a better room assignment at check in. Does anyone have any experience with online vs. in person check in and good/bad room assignments?

We’ve had a DTD view in Adventure, a Premium and a Standard in Fantasy. If I had to choose I’d day the DTD view in Adventure because we could see fireworks. Pool view was nice with the kids because we could see how busy it was, scout out chairs 😁

Should we be concerned about the noise at DTD-facing rooms once construction begins there next year?

We could hear the nightly music acts playing on the small stage by where ESPN Zone used to be. I assume construction noise would be limited to certain hours so I wouldn’t think you would hear it early AM or late PM.

My favorite tower is Adventure. I've had great views from premium, standard and deluxe rooms in that tower. Plus it's slightly closer to DTD so makes the walk a few minutes shorter. Three minutes made a difference after walking for 7 hours in the park :)

I'm not sure about construction noise. It's further away than the Hotel construction, so I would imagine it won't be AS noticeable. Hard to say, though. And as PP mentioned, they will only be doing construction during certain hours.

Would all buildings have all room types? If I am booking premium down town disney view then I would def. be in Adventure tower or no?
