Best Room/Village to be in at CBR and why?

Our first trip to Disney is coming up in just over two weeks and we are SO EXCITED!!! Can you tell?

Anyhow we are staying at the CBR for the first time and because this is our first trip I have no clue what to expect. From what I understand we won't know what room we're in until just before we arrive or the day we arrive...so how do I know if we have a good room/location? Can anyone tell me the most desirable area/room to be in and why?

Hi there. You should be able to request a particular village. It's certainly no guarantee, but they may honor it. We stayed in Aruba and Jamaica. You don't have to pay the preferred rate for either and they aren't too far from Old Port Royal, especially Jamaica. Aruba has a more picturesque beach, but Jamaica's closer. You could always ask to be put in a room close to the bridge, too. Have fun!

Thank you so much! Now if we request to be close to Old Port Royal...how is that as far as bussing go? Would that be a good location? I am CLUELESS!
