where would you stay? closer to the monorail? we're going in jan so I am not sure how much we'll use the pools, but I wouldn't mind a nice view. Are the Tonga, Niue and Rarotonga longhouses nice--they're the ones that dreams unlimited says are closest to the monorail. How far are they from the dining facilities? thanks!

Aloha M,
You can't go wrong with (almost) any room at the Poly, but you should put a request in for Samoa (volcano pool side) or Fiji (either side but I like the marina/CR side view the best). Both of these longhouses are garden view.

We were just there in Aug., in Tokelau, and we loved it. But we do not have young children (ours are 10 and 15). Check out Tikimans website and you can read the pros and cons of each location at the Poly. By the way, we are looking to lease our 15 yo DS until he turns back into a human being !! Just kidding !! Make an offer though !! Have a great trip !! :thumbsup2
