I'd appreciate any help :)

Looking for a nice and quiet standard room number in Alligator Bayou that has double beds (hopefully a trundle, too), close to a kidfriendly quiet pool, and relatively close to a parking lot.

Don't really mind stairs or distance from resort center or bus since we'll only be there for one night.

Thanks!

Room 1851 or anything on that particular side is great! It faces a beautiful garden area, but is very close to a great quite pool, the restuarants, bus stop, etc. Perfect location! Building 14 is also good....somewhere around room 1451 or so. I don't think you could go wrong with either building 14 or 18 though. Some of the rooms in building 18 face the quite pool so if you don't mind a little noise at night that's a good side too.

We just got back from Riverside Saturday Feb 2nd. We were in building 14 in the alligator bayou section. We were as close as possible to the dining same thing with the bus stop. You are the south depot. My husband is handicapped so our agent made sure we had everything to be close. You have a beautiful view of the river and if you have children they can feed the ducks. We were very pleased. I told my husband in all our vactions. I thought this was the prettiest place we ever stayed. The mansion sections are beautiful also. The buildings look like the old south, but they are not close to the dining. I promise you will enjoy your stay at riverside.

Thanks so much, y'all! :)
I'll check to see if 1851 is available...
If not anyone else care to suggest?

UPDATE:
Sadly, upon requesting the number I've now found out the room was only on hold for a certain length of time which expired a while back.... Kind of assumed I paid for it, but that's cool I'm going to just roll with it. No more moderates are available now with the 40% off code when I'm going (early April), but a room at Pop Century was found for me. We've never been there so I'm looking forward to it. And at $66 that's about half of POR so WOOHOO :)

Mr. FFerret says it's for our first night anways, no biggie.

Now I get to obsess over finding a good Pop Century room :) :) :)

Just for general information - it is NEVER advisable to request a specific ROOM at a hotel. A location, sure. Certain features (for example, the OP could have requested a room "near a quiet pool and a parking lot, in the Alligator Bayou section"), absolutely. But "Room 1851"? Nope.

Figure the hotel's occupancy rate is 90%. Simplisitically, this means there's only a one in ten chance that the specific room will be unoccupied.

Room 1851 or anything on that particular side is great!
HEY! We stayed in 1851 last September! The year before we were in 1849 which was a corner/water view room. I am completely spoiled to staying on that corridor.

We always request Bldg. 18 because it is NOT near the parking lot and it is near the food court, the quiet pool, and the laundry room.
