Best Resturants

My family (of 5) is traveling to Walt Disney World from July 11-July 23. I was wondering if there are any resturants that are really good or fun that we must try. Also, if anyone knows of any activities that are must sees. Thanks.

If you're going this year, in 9 days? You will probably be better off calling up dining and asking what places are left and then figuring out your plan.

Otherwise... well, it depends on if you're on the dining plan or not, and if you're not on dining plan then how much do you want to spend?

Can't really give advice on best restaurants if we don't know a little bit about your budget... or you'll just get answers that are all of the high-end pricey ones (which are good, but that's expected!).

Disney takes reservations 180 days in advance. At this point, you will have a very hard time getting into the popular places because they fill up very quickly especially in July.

Start calling for reservations asap!

A few to try at the last minute...

Cape May Breakfast
Kona Breakfast or Lunch
Beirgarten
House of Blues
Rose and Crown
Nine Dragons
Plaza at MK (maybe for lunch?)
50's Prime (maybe for lunch?)

If you are out of luck with reservations there are some great counter service places that you can try (and they are not chicken fingers or burgers):

DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express, great food, large portions and reasonable prices

Epcot - China, Morocco and Germany have wonderful counter service options. Sunshine Seasons has a lot of choices too

MK - Cosmic Rays has a great rotisserie chicken meal. Peco Bills has some great choices too

AK - Flame Tree BBQ is YUMMY!

MGM - I can never find anything better than a hot dog but it is a really good one!
