We would like to have dinner at Epcot one evening. What are the best restaurants in the World Showcase?

Well I can see now you'll get alot of LeCellier.
Personaly haven't tried because I don't like stuff on my steaks and they do alot of that. But others seem to like it.

As for my answer. We like Teppan Edo. Love the habachi.
We also like Italy before it closed, haven't tried the new resturant.

"Best" is really a suggestive word. What might be best for me, might not be best for you.

Here are my suggestions though ... Chefs De France and Le Cellier!

We love the biergarten in Germany and Nine Dragons in China - they recently redid their menu and it's very good. Used to like San Angel Inn in Mexico but that seems to have gone downhill in the past couple of years. Have eaten at LeCellier many times and find that it's really over rated - it used to be a must do and now we don't even consider it. I think it's popular because you can get a steak. And the soup is good. But it's nothing extraordinary.

Tutto -Italian
Teppen Edo- Good Food & Fun
Coral Reef - Good Food Nice atmosphere

We've had really nice meals at Tutto Italia and Chefs de France. The food was flavorful and well prepared and the service was done well too.

Restaurant Marrakesh was decent, really good food and unique atmosphere but the service was reeeeeaaaaaalllllly slow. It really just depends on the server you get.

(Please don't flame me for what's coming next!)
We've also eaten at Le Cellier and don't get what the big deal is. I thought the fillet at Chefs de France was better prepared than at Le Cellier. I'd say Le Cellier was ok (it certainly wasn't the worst meal I've had in DW) but doesn't warrant the hype. Certainly everyone has to try it for themselves to see what its all about.

probably our order of choice
Le Cellier
Coral Reef (but not in the world)
Rose and Crown
Teppen Edo
Chefs de France
San Angle
Nine Dragons (before refurbish)

We just had dinner at Chefs de France last month and I had the filet -- it was okay -- not great but decent. My husband said the chicken was just okay too and my son had the chicken fingers. He also had the Friand au Fromage - Cheese puff pastry which he did not eat but I did and it was so good! The atmosphere is really nice and you get to meet Remy from Rattouille (SP?) which was so cute! Next time, I would love to do the Nine Dragons in China!

I like them all. I do prefer Tokyo Dining to Tepan Edo though. I was most surprised by Nine Dragons - it was excellent. I am going to get to try Chefs de France in a couple of weeks (no salmon though.)

1) There is only one best eatery in Epcot.
2) It is called Bistro de Paris.

We like Tutto Italia and the Biergarten the best. LeCellier is very good, but I personally think it is too expensive for what you get.

Just back and we really enjoyed our meals at Le Cellier and Teppan Edo! :thumbsup2

- Tutto Italia is decent, though I actually liked Alfredo's a bit better.
- Chefs De France is reliably good, and Bistro De Paris is very good.
- Nine Dragons is also quite good.
- Le Cellier is good - basic mid-grade steakhouse (I think it tends to be most popular because it's the most 'American' fare).
- San Angel I still like, but it isn't as good as it used to be (they took away the queso fundido). The chips and salsa are still great, and pollo a la rasa a lovely dish.
- Restaurant Marrakesh is good food, and easy to get into - it's usually the least crowded, and the belly dancer and music is a good atmosphere.
- Beirgarten is more family fare, and less full restaurant atmosphere.
- Asherkus also is more family atmosphere.
- Teppan Edo is good, but it helps to like this style of food to begin with. Those not into Japanese style cooking may not be as happy.
- Rose and Crown is not bad...but again, UK food is an acquired taste and not everyone has acquired it.

I'd probably put San Angel, Tutto Italia, Bistro de Paris, Nine Dragons, and Le Cellier at the top of my list in World Showcase.

But I think you can find much better restaurants at the resort hotels!

Atmosphere: Coral Reef (food was delicious too)
Entertainment: hands down Teppan Edo (they were fantastic, food great); Marrakesh as well
Food: Le Cellier
Old time favorites: Les Chefs de France
Bakery: Boulangerie-Patisserie in France

We have yet to try Rose and Crown, Nine Dragons and Tutto Italia. Going in Jan. and can't wait!

I've eaten at every WS restaurant (except Bistro de Paris). I'd rank them:

1. Tutto Italia
2. Le Cellier
3. Chef's de France
4. Tokyo Dining
5. Rose & Crown
6. Tempan Edo
7. Marakesh
8. Biergarten
9. Akershus
10. San Angel Inn
