I am going to DW in Feb. I need to know the best restaurant to watch fireworks at.

Im sure this question has been asked already but search is disabled.

Also, if anyone could tell me how to add the counter of how long till your trip in your posts that would be great!

right outside the California Grill.

Food and service and view are all very, very good!

Can't ask for a better view of the magic Kingdom fireworks.
I believe you have to be a diner at CG in order to go out on the deck.

But it's worth it!

There are really very few restaurants that afford firework viewing while dining.

Matsu No Ma Lounge in Japan is one from which you can see, but the music is not piped in.

You may also be able to see the fireworks, but not much of the rest of Illuminations from Le Chefs de France.

Rose and Crown has about 10 tables from which you can view Illuminations, however, those seats are not reserved and are 1st come 1st serve, so the chances you will get one is usually not very good.

The rest of the restaurants are located within the pavillions and do not afford a vantage point for Illuminations viewing.

My suggestion would be to eat, and then grab a spot along the outer perimeter of the lake. We have had good luck around Japan and Italy, but basically, rule of thumb has it, that if you can see the barges, and the center barge with the globe, you will not have any problem viewing Illuminations.

Have a great time!

I would definetly reccomend Cinderella's Castle. I had made a PS reservation and made it for about 30-45 minutes before the fireworks and had requested a window table. They can't guarantee a window table so from other posts I had seen I had learned to show up a few minutes early for your reservation and hopefully get one that way. When it was time for the fireworks they lower the lights and pipe in the music. Our seat was overlooking the carousel. It looked as if they were coming right in our window and as if they were being shown just for us. It was our last night for me, my husband, son and my parents. I sat there and briefly looked around the table at the looks on my family's face and it is my favorite Disney memory (my mom even teared up). Oh yeah and the food was good too.....::yes:: ::yes::

It makes me tear up thinking of your experience! I CANT WAIT to go! Thanks so much for the suggestions!

For the MK fireworks, the 2 best spots are California Grill and Narcoosee's.
If you don't happen to get one of the limited "window tables" at either, just step outside to the observation area at each restaurant and you will have a fine view.
