Where is everyone's favorite place to eat in DTD and what is it that you get there that is so great?

I would have to say Rainforest Cafe is my fav. place to eat at DTD...I just love the themeing and the food is good....alittle pricey but def worth it....I get all kinds of things when I am there depends on what I'm craving! ;) :bounce:

I second RFC. It is such a fun place to eat. I really like the pastas. We also really enjoyed Planet Hollywood this last trip. I had the Texas Tostadas appetizer, Shrimp Alfredo and the Chocolate Brownie for dessert. :thumbsup2 Delicious!

House of Blues......I had the salad & a personal pizza - wow, awesome :thumbsup2 . My husband really enjoyed his meal there too, but I forgot what he had  .

My kids had the usual kid cuisine of fried chicken & mac-n-cheese and even there food looked really good. :sunny:

Wolfgang Puck's across from the Virgin Megastore. I've enjoyed sushi there, and some basic stuff like meat loaf. :thumbsup2 :earsboy:

My favorite has got to be Fulton's Crab House. The atmosphere is great, but next time DW and I go we will leave the kids behind. More of an adult oriented eatery, although they don't care if you bring the kiddies!

My favorites:

Appetizer - Stone Crab Claws

Entree - Ciopinna (a seafood stew created in San Francisco originally)

Dessert - The Dessert Trio was nice without being too rich or filling

:thumbsup2

Tough decision between House of Blues and Fulton's Crab House. We have never had a bad dish or server at either of these. Food was fabulous and great, attentive service.

hands down....earl of sandwich!!

we tried it last year and omg..wonderful. i know where we'll be spending our cs credits!

I'll second that! :thumbsup2

In addition to HOB that several have mentioned, try Portobello Yacht Club for good northern Italian.

EARL OF SANDWICH! I am drooling thinking of the sandwich I ate there last fall.....so great!

 Cheap too!

what about cap n jacks? We were planning on trying this even though they do not except ADRs.

Fultons. My husband and I would recommend the Australian Lobster Tails, the King Crab Legs, the Cold Seafood Platter, the Salmon, the Swordfish and the Stone Crab (if you are there during stonecrab season)....ok, I think that is everything we have ever eaten there. Basically we LOVE this restaurant. Mmm Mmm Mmm.... :stir:

I have to go with Earl of Sandwich. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was fabulous! My husband loved the roast beef sandwich also.

We like Bongos. They have good Cuban Sandwiches and the Tre Leche cake is awesome.

We ate at RFC DTD location the first night of our trip, took 15 min to get our waiter Wes to the table, then 15 min to get our drinks, then 30 for our appetizer. It wasn't just us either, all the tables around us were slow to get their orders. I will stick to the AK RFC, never had a problem there, so I can't say they are the best DTD restaurant.
Earl of Sandwich is very good , never had bad food there, and for desserts Ghiradellis, hands down, but then I'm a chocoholic!

:teeth: Oh my goodness...Earl of Sandwhich RULES!! I cannot imagine better food for a better price anywhere...it's really good. My kids love it. My husband loves it. I love it. If you are looking for a great CS meal in Downtown Disney, look no further than the Earl of Sandwhich. YUMMY.
