Can someone please point out to me which resorts offer breakfast and dinner buffets? We stayed at AKL last year and loved Boma, we want to stay somewhere different this year. Do any moderates offer buffets??

Coronado Springs has a lunch buffet. The nice thing about it is if you are on the dining plan it only costs 1 CS credit. It is called Pepper Market. My family loves 'Ohana at the Poly. I know it is not technically a buffet, but it is all you can eat. We have stayed at Coronado and the Poly before. Coronado is nice, but it can be a long walk to the restaurant depending on where you are. This year we are staying in the family suites at the Music.

Hope you have a great trip. We are buffet people too.

. . . WL - Whispering Canyon bfast/lunch/dinner all-you-can-eat
. . . CR - Wave bfast buffet; Chef Mickeys bfast/lunch/dinner
. . . GF - 1900 Park Fare bfast/dinner buffet
. . . Poly - Ohana bfast/dinner all-you-can-eat
. . . BC/YC - Captain Grille bfast, Cape May dinner buffet

NOTE: All-you-can-eat is served family-style at table.

One of the things I really enjoyed about the Poly was having a choice to go to Kona or Ohana for breakfast as well. You have to book way ahead of time, so it won't help with last minute breakfast plans. But if you don't mind planning (and the price tag for the Poly:scared1:) it is a really pleasant perk:)

Whispering Canyon is not a buffet or an all you can eat restaurant. It has an a la carte menu with only one all-you-can-eat family style option, the skillet.

Cape May also has a breakfast buffet, with characters.

CSR has a buffet for both breakfast and lunch. They are both counter service credits if you are on the dining plan. Dinner is a la carte.

Like TDC Nala said, Beach Club has a character breakfast as well as a buffet dinner.

I would go Beach Club...Cape May buffet is very good (both breakfast & dinner)

Would not recommend Coronado Springs buffet unless they have changed the food since going buffet (which as far as I've read, they didn't change the food, just made it a buffet) We thought it was among the worst food we've had at Disney, and we've been to most of the Disney restaurants (and we like most of the Disney restaurants.) Totally tasteless food at Pepper Market. Looks good, tastes like nothing.

Wow, thanks to all of you who helped me..now, I'm just clueless when it comes to DP. All I know is we chose the Deluxe DP on our last trip. The reason being that it offered us 3 meals a day. We usually ate a light lunch but had big breakfast and moderate dinners. Would you select choosing a different DP? My DD wants to do dinner in Cinderella's castle again this go around :snooty: I didn't think their food was that great.

I really want to stay at Wilderness or Poly but not sure we can swing it with the $$ factor :scared1:

We've always enjoyed the Pepper Market and have stayed at CSR four times. We have also made a special trip to eat at Pepper Market when staying somewhere else. We haven't been since they started the buffet, but it has been getting good reviews.

To each his own, I guess. I think it is one of the best CS at Disney, and I can name several Disney restaurants that I thought were terrible (as well as several that are worth going to every trip).

Ive also heard nothing but great things about the CS pepper market buffet. (breakfast AND lunch!). Apparently they have quite a good variety, and all delicious. If you ask me, its a pretty good value for a QS credit!! Im staying there in august and I cant wait!!

I agree!:thumbsup2

Boma at AKL was hands down our favorite dinner and it is a buffet. They do breakfast also.

The Trails End at FW serves b,L and d. They have wilderness cabins that give you more room, quieter and a resort with a lot to do.
