I wondered what other people thought was the best resort for a family of 5. We have 3 kids. For this trip, cost is a driving factor, though not the only one of course. It would be nice to be in the same room as well.
It seems like the options are to either spring for a deluxe that sleeps 5 or get 2 rooms in a value or moderate. It looks like some of the value rooms are adjoining, is this true? Also, I guess we could do a cabin at Fort Wilderness. Are there options I am not seeing?
We're only looking at a day on either end of our DVC stay. We don't have enough points to spend weekend points there.
Obviously there are more offsite options (i.e. Comfort Suites, etc.) Sometimes it's a little frustrating when so many places are now geared for families of 4. I know the Poly and Contemporary rooms were built with 5 people in mind, but after that, they stopped making decent sized rooms. Restaurants are the same way... oh well, couldn't imagine life without all 3 of them.
