Best Resort for Family of 5 ?

I know that we are limited on what value resorts we can stay because of the size of our family, but just wanting to know what you guys think? I wanted to stay at AOA but just realized that it's not included in the free dining plan. We are planning a WDW trip in Oct. 2014.

You can do a search and will find at least one to two posts per day on families of 5.

Last year the AOA suites were included in the free dining for the fall. The LM rooms were not. I guess it all depends on whether or not they need to fill the rooms.

AOA could be included next year,,,we just don't know. If I were you, I would wait until the day they release the free dining special, next summer and then book whatever you can get for your family online. Either 2 rooms at Pop, Cabins at Fort Wilderness, or POR. If you make a ressie before that, you could be on hold for hours to modify the reservation only to have no availability, because so many were able to book online. We are planning to go Jan. 2015, although also considering Dec. 2014 if we can get free dining. My plan is exactly as I've said. Good luck!

If at least one of the kiddos is not a big kid my family of 5 has really enjoyed Port Orleans Riverside. We have stayed there twice and loved it both times.

This time we are upgrading and staying at Poly in October. Can't wait!
