Looking for a resort for my family my boys are 19 and 21 and disney addicts. when asked if they want to go on vacation much to our surprise they said yes and back to Walt disney world. We have been there 4 times and always been to either deluxe (akl) or moderate (french quarters, coronado springs) wondering if there is a hotel more suitable for their ages. we are planning to go hopefully late May or early June 2020 (college summer break). thank you in advance for all your suggestions. I'm just glad they still want to go on vacation with us still just surprised its to Walt disney world

I’d show them their options and see what they like.

My ds22 likes CR, Poly, WL, YC best in that order.

He’s not fond of any mods but would do POP again,

Do they swim, like an adult beverage, die hard park junkies all day? All those will make a difference.

For price wl is a nice option, CR for iquick access to MK . Poly is just FUN and yc nice for boardwalk access and large pool.

Thank you!!! Yes they swim they love Maui and are always at the beach here in California!! Hahaha they are also die hard park junkies and have annual passes to Disneyland! So most likely then CR or Poly haven’t been to those 2 yet! Now if only I can get free dinning!!! I know wishful thinking!

We also like WL. Using the boat to get to MK is fun and convenient. How fun that you kiddos still want to go with you. I’m hoping to take mine with us next year. Enjoy your trip!

My brother and I were somewhere around those ages, little younger, for some of our trips to BC and we absolutely loved it. Definitely would go with an Epcot area resort for teens/young adults if financially possible.

Walking to Epcot/DHS should be really appealing for teens/young adults who are park junkies, and the pool at YC/BC is fantastic, especially for families without young children who can enjoy it without having to worry about supervising little ones in a large area.

swan or dolphin ? plenty of restaurants and lounges . short walk to boardwalk places like espn zone . walk or boat to epcot and hollywood studios . they share a great pool area . rooms have 2 beds and can get a roll away . the rollaway was the best one ive ever seen . was full size single mattress on a steal frame . they wheel it in standing up and then knock it over onto floor and it was a comfy mattress
(if you know what to look for on priceline and hotwire mystery hotels you can get them for around $200 plus taxes a few months out and less closer )

Remember that unless you stay in a Family Suite, or at a DVC unit on points, you will be charged nightly for each of the two additional nights - $25 Deluxe.

Thank you everyone gonna look into booking for BC once college is out next May. Gonna give the boys a few days to get back and unpack then head on out to WDW! Get to have a drink with the oldest at Epcot now that is something new!!! Any other suggestions greatly appreciated!! Just blessed that we got to experience WDW throughout my sons lifetime!!! No wonder we are a Disney family!!!

My kids are now young adults and love the BW area. They love to be able to walk to EPCOT and DS. The night life is so much fun and being able to walk easily to the other EPCOT resorts.

They do not like AKL as much as they did when they were young, as it's so quiet and remote and nothing with in walking distance.
