Best Resort Choice For Large Family

What resorts would you recommend for a large family?

My wife and I have 8 children, 6 DS's and 2 DD's, ranging in age from 3 mos up to 16. We have exclusively stayed at OKW villas about 20 times since 1993. We really like OKW's location, size and laid back feel. We also take full advantage of the kitchen, since feeding this group at the parks is quite pricey.

We keep thinking we should branch out and try something new, but always end up booking at OKW.

Is there anywhere else we should try? DVC or otherwise? Are there any kitchens at the Polynesian?

Next trip in early Aug for 4 or 5 days.

The problem you have is the size of your group 10. You would need a grand villa at other DVC places and they are hard to come by if you aren't a member there. OKW has by far the largest accomodations. You could probably get a two bedroom at OKW if the children are very young but a two bedroom anywhere else would be to small. The other option is to get a two bedroom and a studio for the older kids if you truly want to stay somewhere else but I would be leery of leaving teens alone but that's me. You might check out all star family suites but they maynot be large enough.

The pool at SSR is great for kids-if you have enough pts to do a grand villa there, I think that would be a good choice and you could easily get to Downtown Disney for lots of food options. We never stayed at the Poly but I'm pretty sure they don't have a kitchen. I do remember the rooms at the CR being very large and able to sleep 5 but I don't know if they do adjioning rooms.
