Best rental car rate for the week of Feb. 25?

I have been plugging in all the codes that I have seen posted and can't seem to get the great rates that others are finding. Is it my dates? Does anyone have a great rate for Feb 25 - March 5th that they would like to share? Thanks!

This year??? That is the back end of Presidents week, don't expect a great rate, hope you can get a car for a rate under overpriced.

That code brings up a rate of about $145 pre-tax for an Intermediate. $50 less than the next lowest. I would jump on that if I were you .

I tried it, I think I ended up with about 190 with tax. The problem is we want to return the rental to the car care center and stay for a few extra days, and right now we have $203 for the Equinox. It would work for DMIL, and it returned a great rate on a minivan for DSIL. But DMIL just told me she would like to get DFIL a corvette, any ideas on that?

The Car Care Center is National and Alamo only. So if that is a real requirement, then you are stuck paying their rates. My guess is that a rental for the whole time you will be there (including after when you wanted to drop off the car) would be cheaper through Dollar.

As for the Corvette ... google "orlando corvette rentals" and you should get something. Expect to pay *a lot*. For instance, a regular convertble will set you back at least $340 for your dates.

thanks I found it for $269 per day, i'll leave that one up to DMIL. I checked and it would be $250 for the whole time, 10 days vs. $203 for alamo for 8 days, I'll leave that one up to DH. Thanks for your help!
