Hi,
I need your advice. We are planning a trip to California this August and I would like to spent at least two days at the new Grand Californian. I was quoted a rate of $609.50 for two nights (Aug 9th - 11th). Is this the best I can do?

I have a Disney Club membership. I have an entertainment card.

Do the on-site hotels give decent AP rates?

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a cheaper rate?

Thank you so much! Any info would be appreciated! :D

I could have gotten an ap rate for the Grand Californian Jan. 26 - 27 for $224 a night. We opted for the CM rate which was a bit cheaper.

Not sure what the rates for the other Disney hotels are but they are out there.

The rates are a bit higher on the weekend.

I doesn't sound very promising, does it.

I'm still in the process of learning about Disneyland. I'm only familiar with WDW. I would hate to miss a good rate if it is to be had.

I was trying to figure out what "CM rate" stood for. It's probably "cast member rate", right?

Thanks again!
