This thought came to me while reading the thread about things people don't like at WDW. A lot of people complained about the appearance of certain bathrooms.

If there's one destination we all share in common at WDW, it's the restrooms. My vote for the best public RR at WDW goes to the lobby/lounge RR at Port Orleans Riverside. It's ALWAYS clean and it has those neat long handled, old-fashioned toilets.

I can get right it there!!! :bounce: (That was a little too personal.)

I was pretty impressed with the one in Olivia's at OKW. Like the cleanliness and the pretty tiles on the walls.

I am a fan of the ones at BCV next to the community room. Tall doors and in the winter they are warm after a cold walk back from Epcopt or BW.

I like the women's at WL...never seen the men's :earseek:

The best RR at WDW is at the Rose n Crown Pub because it's only a few feet from all that Guiness beer!

Hmmm..... I'm guessing this is a "chick" thread ;-)

Let's see...... favorite head at WDW. I vote for The Closest One.

I don't know Toon.... something about making a deposite so close to the supply......

Any that doesn't have a line!!!!!!! :teeth:

I love the ladies room between Beach Club and Yacht Club, near the exercise area - it always smells really good, the potpourri in there is wonderful.

Also liked the ladies room at Grand Floridian - beautiful, clean, with basket of towels instead of paper towels. Such elegance!

In the parks themselves....hmm, can't think of any that stand out. The ones I don't like are the tiny ones, with only a few stalls, which means us ladies have to wait in line. Thank God, not too many of those at WDW!!!

I'll go with the men's room at the GF. Very clean, but most importantly, tissue that wasn't the same consistency as 100 grit sandpaper.

Ah, to "feel" how the other half lives...

;)

A previous thread suggested the 12th hole at OKW. (and no I am not a guilty participant)

This is a strange thread, yet I feel compelled to answer :earboy2:

Actually, one criteria that I always use when evaluating a hotel, restaurant or theme park is the restrooms.

My vote for the best:

Yacht Club - The ones close to the steakhouse. Stopping there has almost become a tradition.

My favorite head is the one located upstairs in the Columbia Harbor House. There is nothing special about it other then hardly anybody knows about it. It's special to me because of its story.

Columbia HH is located in Liberty Square. To maintain the authenticity of LS - ala Colonial times - there are no bathrooms in any of the buildings. But you say "how can that be when the Harbor House has your favorite head ?" . Okay, I'll tell you....

While the boundaries of the various lands in MK are blurred with landscaping & attractions, on the survey maps they are very exact. The bathrooms in Harbor House are actually located in Fantasyland.

Pretty cool, don't cha think !!

But there are restrooms in Liberty Tree Tavern. Isn't that in Liberty Square? How do they justify that?

I'd be willing to bet those heads are in Adventure or Frontier lands. Look where LTT sits in relation to those two lands.

What about the RR at ESPN Cafe?? You can sit on the pot and watch the tube. I think that is pretty neat.

Cute story - DS was about 6 1/2 had just learned how to read well. As he is what my mom calls the family sh-- house inspector, he has hit every RR in every land/hotel/airport. DH brought him into yet another RR, DS does his thing, then turns to DH and asks Dh why WDW (either does or doesn't, I can't remember that detail) use American Standard? LOL I couldn't even tell you what we have at home even today yet DS at 6yo knew! Like I say he's the inspector so I'll leave this thread to him for tomorrow. :rotfl:
