Best prices on Cosco car seat bases?

I need to buy 2 more bases for our Cosco car seat. The seat and base we have is beige, and Target has only black for sell. Target also has them for $50 each, and I think buying directly from the manufacturer they are $35. I prefer not to shop Ebay and Craigslist has nothing in my area. Anyone know where else I can find extras in beige, less than $35? Thanks.

You might want to check in the owner's manual to see if the seat can be installed directly with a seatbelt. Most infant carriers can. The base is just a convenience thing. So if you aren't going to transport the baby in the other cars super often and you are committed to diligently doing a tight and correct install every time you can avoid buying extra bases altogether.

My babies were so big when they were born that their infant seats only lasted for 4-5 months anyway before we had to upgrade to a larger rearfacing convertible carseat. So for me spending that much moneny on extra bases would never have been worth it. In fact I am expecting my third child and am not even bothering with an infant seat this around (my original one has expired). I'm going to straight to a convertible!

That reminds me, since you'll have to buy a convertible carseat someday anyway (since they now recommed that babies sit rearfacing for at least two years) you could just buy that seat and install it in the alternate cars. But someday you might need seats in all the cars anyway so I don't know if that helps much in the long run. And convertible seats can't be moved easily from car to car and shouldn't be due to issues with getting a safe installation.

I didn't even have a base with my first infant seat - you don't need one. I got ones with the next babies, but it's not a huge timesaver.
