Was wondering if anyone could recommend a low priced good quality sound bar speaker system---Surround Sound--- that we could hook up to the flat screen we got last year??

Was wanting to get something for a low price if possible that had good sound quality.

There is one this week in Best Buy's Ad this wee I think for $88 something----Can I get one for that price or less and have the surround sound we are looking for??

Was wondering if there would be any Black Friday online sales for this because I don't plan on going to the stores that day?

Thanks:)

Does anyone know anything about the one in Best Buy;s ad this week?

It says 100 Watt Soundbar with powered subwoofer--on sale for $84.99

Would this have surround sound??

Our TV is in a basement in a smaller room so the sound doesn't have alot of space to bounce around in but maybe that doesn't matter?

Just not sure what to buy when it comes to something like this and don't want to waste money on one that is subpar even though the price may be good.

Thanks;)

True surround sound actually surrounds you with speakers. If I'm not mistaken, there are at least five when you include the subwoofer.

There are soundbars with subwoofers that can give you a similar experience. I have this one on my 46" Sony flatscreen.

The TV is in my family room, which measures 12' x 18'. The sound is good enough but nothing compared to the the real surround sound system that my husband has hooked up to his TV in his man cave.

ETA: Maybe I'm missing something but the only ~$85 soundbar that I could find in the Best Buy ad for this week was an iLive speaker bar for the iPod for $85.
