Best price for renting a car from airport for WDW

We are staying at a timeshare this trip near Downtown Disney and will be traveling with 7 family members. We have never needed to rent a car and would like advice on who has the best deals and do you need the extra insurance.

We just rented a car for the first time @ Disney and found a great deal from National. They had great coupon codes in the Entertainment Book and an extra deal through the Mousesavers newsletter. The National website let you use more than one coupon code. We did not get the extra insurance as we felt we were covered through our regular car insurance policy.

Decided last week to get a rental along with ME, got a Premium car for $17 a day, total $197 a week, the smaller cars are less money. Even with codes this was the least cost. Hate to think how low now for the 6th .
