I am new here, but have lurking for awhile getting some really good info. We are planning our second Disney trip next year and our first time camping. We will be using our pop-up and I am just wondering what sites are best for this. We have two small children.
Thanks,

You can put a POP-UP on any site. We had ours in the 100 loop. It depends on what you want to spend and what you need or want. We wanted cable, sewer and did not have a pet at the time. Try to get a loop you want not a specific site.

When we camped at the Fort in our pop-up, we were in the 200 loop. Our site was just around the bend from the comfort station.

I agree with the others, we always stay on a Preferred site when we go. With the changes, I'll look at the Premium sites. I like the idea of cable and sewer, plus we like to spread out.

Welcome fellow Wisconsinite! You can put your pop up on any site. It just depends on where you want to be located and what amenities you want to pay for. The campground is being updated so sites are changing, here is a link http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1770909
You don't say when you are going, so that may affect where you want to be. Personally, we prefer to be in the area around the meadows. Here is a link to a map of the campground. http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/fortwilderness.htm It all depends on what you plan on doing, more parks or more relaxing.

There are so many sites that are great it's impossible to pick one or two. A popup can go on any site. If you have small kids, I'd recommend requesting a specific loop when you make your reservation (not guarenteed but they try). If you want to be down by Pioneer Hall, the pony rides, the play ground, beach, boat dock and bus drop, ask for loop 100, 200, 300, or one of those low numbers to cut down on the walking.

If you want to be near the pool, the bike barn, campfire, singalong, main trading post, ask for 800, 900, 1000, or 1400. Or 1500 is near these but has no sewer connections.

We have a popup and have requested loop 900 three times. We got it twice and got 1000 the other time.

Enjoy! :grouphug:
